The Logical Execution Time (LET) paradigm provides time and data flow determinism in software while ensuring robustness to application functionality extensions and changes. The LET paradigm achieves predictable timing for input and output data at defined intervals by masking processing time jitter and ensuring data consistency at design and implementation time. This results in a decrease of complexity of integrating in-vehicle applications on multi-core platforms, a reduction of development effort and a simplified verification of timing constraints.
